1. Rationale:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

At Edison International Academy, all pupils are to wear the prescribed school uniform, which is part of ensuring a purposeful learning ethos. A complete list of the items that are part of the school uniform will be in each school\u2019s procedure handbook.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Aims:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

This policy is based on the belief that a school uniform promotes a sense of pride in the school, and fosters a feeling of community and belonging. Edison International Academy\u2019s uniform identifies our pupils with the school, is not distracting in class, and makes children feel equal to their peers in term of appearance. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Uniform: \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The school uniform colours and items may change from year to year. Each year the uniform items will be itemised and added to the School\u2019s information site. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
