Our admissions process is designed to help families find the right learning environment for their child, with personalised guidance and support throughout.

Admissions – Simple Guide for Parents

Inclusive School

  • We accept students from all nationalities.
  • Every application is reviewed individually.
  • Students are placed according to their age on 1st September, or their Transfer Certificate (if coming from a school in Qatar).
  • We do not move students up or down a grade unless there are very special reasons and approval from the Ministry of Education.

Language Requirement

  • Children (Year 1 to 6) must have basic English skills to understand the British Curriculum.
  • Priority is given to:
  • Students who meet the English requirement
  • Siblings of current students
  •  

STEP 1 – Initial Application

You may apply:

  • In person at the school, or
  • Through our website
  • Please make sure your phone number and email are correct.
  • We will contact you using these details

STEP 2 – Document Review

If selected, you will be asked for documents such as:

  •  School reports from last year + any reports from this year (in English)
  • Recent photograph
  • Child’s Qatar ID
  • Any documents about additional needs (if applicable)

Please note: Being asked for documents does not guarantee a place. Applications are first checked through school and behaviour reports.

STEP 3 – Entrance Assessment

If the application passes the first review:

  • Your child will be invited for an entrance assessment.
  • An assessment fee (Y1 – 6) must be paid before or on the assessment day.
  • If your child does not attend the assessment without informing us, the application may not be considered again for that year.

EYFS Assessment (Pre-school/Foundation Stage) Teachers will check:

  • Social skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to separate from parents
  • Readiness for school

Year 1 – Year 6 Assessment

  • Formal Entrance Assessments in English, Mathematics and Arabic

Important: We cannot admit students who need high levels of learning or behavioural support, as we do not have the specialised services required. Please share all information honestly during the application process.

STEP 4 – Acceptance

If your child is accepted:

  • You will receive a call or email.
  • You must submit all required documents and make payment within 10 working days to secure the place.

Required Documents:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Passport-size photo
  • Child’s passport + Qatar ID
  • Qatar IDs of parents/sponsor
  • Health & vaccination card
  • Any medical information the school must know
  • Registration fee

Payments:

  • Starting next academic year → Advance deposit (deducted from Term 1 fees)
  • Starting midterm → Full term fees must be paid before the first day

Important Ministry (MoEHE) Rules

International Transfers (from outside Qatar)

  • Students entering Year 2 and above must provide official stamped school reports.

Transfers Within Qatar

  • Parents must give their current school a confirmation letter from EIA-DH.

All Students

  • The Ministry decides which year group a child may join.
  • If the Ministry does not approve the offered grade, placement depends on available seats.
