Edison International Academy – Dahl Al-Hamam ( EIA-DH) is a Private International School that started in 2009 under the name Kids Are Us which received candidacy in 2012. In 2015 EIA-DH was an EYFS and Primary school. It began at a different site, though close to its present location. It moved to its present site for the academic year 2015-16.
EIA-DH is a well-positioned school in a developing area near Al Hazm and Tawar Malls, overlooking the City and the surrounding area. It is an area of Qatar that is close to attractions and popular shopping malls, and in close vicinity to Dahl Al-Hamam Park. The school is just off the main road and close to amenities. It is only a short drive from the City Centre and the Corniche. Most children arrive by car or school bus.
The school consists of well-maintained buildings and various shaded out door areas. Parking is available at the front and rear of the school for staff, parents and visitors. School buses park at the back of the school. The whole school is well secured with a closed perimeter and security guards at the gates. It is attractive and safe with green artificial grass, shade sails, and play equipment.
EIA-DH is known as a British Curriculum School, as it uses the Early Years Foundation Framework for its Early year’s students, and the National Curriculum of England for its Primary students. It teaches these subjects in English. It also provides the three compulsory subjects – Arabic, Islamic Studies and Qatar History as required by the MOEHE.

I have the extreme pleasure to welcome all our current community and our prospective new community members to Edison International Academy- DH – Qatar. As a British curriculum school EIA-DH prides itself on the development of strong, healthy, educated students. We celebrate our students’ development by providing a leading Early Years and Primary education based on a British international curriculum. We endeavour to educate the whole child keeping in mind the strong religious and cultural foundations of Qatar, so the students may reach their academic and personal potential.
One of the keys to achieving this vision is through communication and EIA-DH uses strong school management and communication that allows the school and home to work together to help our students flourish.
Our international faculty and administration focus on making EIA-DH welcoming, safe and secure. EIA-DH promotes an environment where students can achieve. We concentrate on developing the skills needed to succeed in the curriculum given, but also in our ever-changing world.
