We are an inclusive school, and each application is considered individually. Students will be placed as per their age on 1st September, or according to their transfer certificate if they are joining us from a school inside Qatar. We do not ‘retain’ or ‘accelerate’ students unless there are exceptional circumstances, and it is in the child’s absolute best interest and/or advised to do so by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar (MoEHE).
Children who wish to register with Edison International Academy, Aspire, are expected to have a good command of the English language in order to be able to fully access the National Curriculum for England Framework, which guides our teaching.
